About this sitter
We are re-retired Canadians that got addicted to House Sitting in 2022 and have 33 sits completed, 2 booked and a few applications out to start the 2026-2027 sits season.
Why they want to house sit
Frankly, house sitting is simply the gateway to enjoy long term travel vacation and get that “lived there” experience. Apart from the obvious cost savings on accommodations and meals at home, this is a great way to get quality pet and farm animal time. Meeting all the critters is great fun, adds purpose to our holiday time and gives us grandpets instead of grand children to spoil. Of course meeting the homeowners is rewarding too!
Their experience
Very experienced with 4 seasons and 33 sits done. A great variety of pets and farm animals cared for, homes and gardens looked after and new friends made. Sits in New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, France, Australia, Canada and booked for Italy and hopefully Greece this time.
What can they bring to the assignment
We are a mature (69&70) couple focused on providing quality care matching your specific needs as our priority. Our tourist time and family and friend visits are secondary and we are very flexible ensuring a Comfortable balance. We never except sits that we can’t meet the pet and home responsibilities as outlined.
