Hi! We're Kirsten and Nick, a couple based in Durango, Colorado who love animals, adventure, and exploring new places. Kirsten works in communications and outreach, and Nick in marketing.

We're responsible, organized, and great communicators.

We're looking for house sits that let us combine our passion for travel with our genuine love of caring for pets and homes. We're especially drawn to sits in areas with great trails and outdoor access, though we're open to anywhere.

We treat every home we stay in as our own.

Why they want to house sit

We think housesitting is a marvelous concept of connecting pet owners with house sitters in a mutually beneficial way. We are constantly exploring new trails in new places, and love the mini-adventures that go along with it. Where we stay is part of that adventure and we want to make it meaningful! Having pets ourselves (two cats), we know how hard it is to find a reliable sitter without breaking the bank. We also know the high cost of hotels and how they lack the comforts of home. We view house sitting as a great way to love and care for pets while also feeling relaxed in a home and fulfilling our itch to explore new places!

Their experience

Yes! We have 10+ years of combined pet care experience. We currently own two cats and have cared for dogs, puppies, senior pets, reptiles, horses, fish, poultry, livestock, small pets, and have experience administering medication. Kirsten's family even raised and trained four guide dog puppies.

We are active on other pet sitting sites and currently have nothing but 5-star reviews.
