Hi everyone!

Nice to meet you. We’re Gabriele and Matilde, and we’re super excited to take care of your furry friends!

We’re an Italian couple and we are so lucky to share our biggest passion: travelling. Indeed we met in Uzbekistan (crazy, right?) and, since then, we’re doing our best to explore the world.

In our everyday life, we both study and work. Gabriele works in customer technical support and study political science; and I, Matilde, study veterinary medicine in university as my main focus but I also works as emergency support for a tour operator.

Fortunately, we also have time for our hobbies: one of our favourite things to do in the weekends is go hiking in the mountains with little Ragù (poodle) and Ettore (mix poodle/lagotto/unknown), which are both a bit lazy (they found each others in this topic as step siblings hahah) but always enjoys a day in nature. We also love going for walks in the city center and play basketball together, as Gabriele is a huge fan since he was a kid, and he’s trying to teach me how to play.
From house sitting we’re hoping to join both our love for animals and exploring. When we’re abroad we always miss sharing time with our pets so much, we’d love to fill our “nostalgia”, giving love to your animals

Why they want to house sit

To enjoy the world seen from a local perspective, to meet new furry friends and people, being able to give them the love they deserve, when their owners cannot be home with them.

Their experience

Yes, I (Matilde) have always lived with pets, since I was borne. We had many dogs, of different breeds: Labrador, Poodles, Shepherds and mixed breeds. We’ve also had 3 cats, which unfortunately now have passed away, but I’ve shared with them most of my live. I’m about to begin the 4th year of vet school. Gabriele has a little bit less of experience, but since now where sharing life, house and dogs…he’s becoming an expert too (he loves animals, he wasn’t his choice to grow without one :( )

What can they bring to the assignment

Lots of love for your pets, for sure! Plus we’ve been living alone for years, we know how to manage a house and take care of things, besides animals. We’re clean and quiet people. I think we’d be a good fit for your position! I promise your pets will receive maaaaany cuddles and kisses
