About this sitter

I’m a single, retired female (59) who has traveled a bit in my younger years and am now looking for experiences to fulfill my wanderlust whilst on a pension!

I’m looking for sits where I can bring my well behaved corgi and enjoy the local area, wherever that may be. I prefer quieter locales over busy ones but am very open to anything (within reason!)

Why they want to house sit

I like the idea of being able to experience an area not as a tourist but rather as a ‘local’ and I want to explore places not on the beaten path.

Their experience

I am a homeowner myself (along with my sister) and take great pride in maintaining my home. I worked for 30 years in office environments but also helped my mom run her B&B for many years. I’ve also been called upon often by family and friends to watch their homes, pets, etc when they get out of town.

I also was born and raised on a dairy farm where, in addition to milking cows, we also had sheep, chickens, cats, dogs and horses. A great deal of animal experience to say the least!

What can they bring to the assignment

I bring a wealth of knowledge about home owning (I understand how plumbing and heating works for example) and caring for animals (I understand that dogs like activity while cats like relaxing, so to speak).
