About this sitter

I’m based in Vienna and I’m a warm, responsible and easy-going person who loves travelling, discovering new places and, most of all, being around animals. I’ve always had a soft spot for pets and I genuinely enjoy their company, whether that means going for walks, playing together, giving them attention or simply having them around while I’m relaxing or working.
For me, the perfect house sit is a combination of discovering a new place and spending time with lovely animals while giving their owners peace of mind. I’m respectful of other people’s homes and I would always treat your home and your pets with the same care and affection I would want for my own.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting brings together two things I really love: travelling and animals.
When I travel, I prefer experiencing a place slowly and feeling a little more like a local rather than just staying in a hotel. Having pets around makes that experience even nicer for me. I genuinely enjoy taking care of animals, getting to know their personalities and making sure they still feel loved, comfortable and safe while their family is away.
I also know how important it is to be able to travel without worrying about what is happening back home, so I would love to be the person who gives an owner that peace of mind.

Their experience

Yes, I have a lot of experience with animals because I actually grew up surrounded by them. Since I was a child, I’ve cared for all kinds of little creatures and pets, from caterpillars and parrots to hens, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and dogs.

I also had my own dog before I moved away from my home country, and he was a huge part of my life. I loved him very deeply, and leaving him behind when I moved was one of the hardest parts of relocating.

Since living in Vienna, I’ve continued to spend a lot of time around animals and regularly help take care of dogs, both in my own home and in their owners’ homes.

So for me, caring for pets is not something new or just part of house sitting. Animals have always been part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy understanding their personalities, giving them attention, following their routines and making sure they feel safe, relaxed and loved while their owners are away.
