Responsible Experienced Female Student in Need of Housing

Hi😊I am a 20 year old business student. I was unfortunately not able to secure housing for my next semester of school. Because of this I switched all my classes online, so I am able to travel anywhere and actually am really hoping to!
I am really active and love long walks and nature! I love giving affection and love but also always respect boundaries and pet’s body language.
I have been petsitting for my entire family for years. I grew up around dogs, cats, chickens, and horses. I love animals and I feel very comfortable around ALL animals of ALL different temperaments. I have a lot of experience with sitting multiple animals at once + animals with health issues and/or behavioral issues.
I am extremely clean and responsible. I don’t drink, smoke, or party. I am an introvert and honestly feel more comfortable around pets than people.💞😂

Why they want to house sit

Some people in my situation would probably feel nothing but stress, but I actually decided to spin it into something positive! A chance to get out of my same routine. To go someplace new and meet different types of people. It’s also an opportunity to spend time with animals, something I have always found peace, comfort and healing in. I would love to get to know you and your pet as much as you would allow me to🥰

Their experience

Yess! I am my family’s petsitter, and have been taking care of my siblings and parents pets for years. For the past seven months, I’ve been caring for my sister’s two dogs, including one who came from an abusive background and is very reactive. When my sister wasn’t able to be there, I actually went through training with her so I could better understand and work with her behavior. This experience taught me so much about caring for animals. The importance of reading their body language, earning their trust, and knowing when to give them space. I feel like I now really connect with them and speak their language! I am ready to interact with and love any pet’s personality! I also rode horses for years and worked at my barn I cleaned, helped students, and cared for multiple different horses with health issues and histories of trauma.

What can they bring to the assignment

I think what I bring most is a combination of responsibility, genuine care, and patience. I’m the type of person who will notice the little things; whether a dog seems off, needs some extra attention, or whether they’re telling me they’d rather have some space. I love giving animals affection and making them feel loved, but I also understand that every animal has their own personality and boundaries. With all the years I’ve spent around animals, I’ve built a lot of patience.I’m comfortable with sitting multiple different pets at once, pets with health/mental issues, and pets with stronger personalities. I’ll also treat someone’s home with the same respect I’d expect someone to have for mine. My goal is for you to be able to leave and actually enjoy your time away knowing your pets are happy, safe, and being genuinely cared for.😇
