Hi! I'm Lina, originally from Lithuania and currently living and working in Norway. I'm an independent, responsible and active person who loves animals, travelling and nature.
I'm used to living on my own, taking care of things and being responsible. I have a lot of experience travelling around Europe and I feel very comfortable adapting to new places.
I'm looking mainly for longer house sits in warmer countries during the winter. I would be very happy to look after cats, dogs and other animals, as well as take care of the home as if it were my own. I'm tidy, practical and respectful, and I enjoy a quiet lifestyle and spending time with animals.
I'm quite flexible about location and length of stay, so I'm open to different possibilities

Why they want to house sit

I love travelling, but I prefer actually living in a place rather than being a tourist for a few days. House sitting gives me the opportunity to experience another country, its nature and everyday life while also helping someone feel relaxed knowing their home and animals are being cared for.
I also genuinely enjoy animals and their company. For me, spending a winter somewhere warm with a dog or cat beside me, exploring the surroundings and taking care of a home sounds much nicer than staying in hotels.
I'm especially interested in longer stays because I like having time to settle into a place and feel at home.

Their experience

Yes, I have experience looking after dogs in Norway. I started through a pet-sitting app, where people would bring their dogs to stay with me while they were away.
So far I have cared for four different dogs, each with their own personality, habits and needs. Some of the owners were so happy and comfortable leaving their dogs with me that they later contacted me directly and asked me to look after them again outside the app.
I really enjoyed the experience. I understand how important it is for an owner to know that their pet is safe, comfortable and receiving plenty of attention while they are away.
Although house sitting in someone else's home will be a new experience for me, caring for other people's pets and being trusted with their wellbeing is something I already know well.

I can bring reliability, honesty and peace of mind. If I agree to take care of your home and animals, I take that responsibility seriously.
I'm tidy, independent and practical, and I'm comfortable solving small everyday problems on my own. I will respect your home, follow your instructions and keep you updated while you're away.
Most importantly, your pets will get plenty of attention and company. I enjoy walking, being outdoors and spending time with animals, so taking a dog for long walks would be a pleasure rather than a chore.
