About this sitter

Hi there! We are Bárbara and Matías, two Argentinians who decided to move to a small village in Italy, in search of a slower life and a closer connection with nature.
We absolutely love our new life here, but we are also curious by nature and enjoy having a little variety from time to time. We love discovering new places, experiencing different environments, and getting to know new corners of the world.

We both work remotely: Matías is a graphic designer and I am a Spanish teacher. Because of this, our only real requirement when house sitting is having a good and reliable Wi-Fi connection so we can continue working comfortably.

We have always loved animals, especially cats and dogs, and we would be very happy to care for them and give them plenty of love and attention while their owners are away. We are also open to looking after other kinds of animals and would be happy to learn whatever routines or special care they need.

We are responsible, respectful, calm, and tidy people, and we understand how important it is to take good care of someone’s home and pets. We would love the opportunity to make your pets feel safe and loved while you are away, and to enjoy living in a new place for a little while.

Why they want to house sit

We want to house sit because we love animals, discovering new places, and experiencing different ways of living. Since we both work remotely, house sitting gives us the opportunity to combine our work with our curiosity and desire to explore.

Their experience

Yes! When we first arrived in Italy, we took care of a small colony of cats in our local area. We regularly fed them and looked after them, making sure they were safe and well cared for. Although this was some time ago, it was a lovely experience that taught us a lot about being patient, responsible, and attentive to animals with different personalities and needs.

What can they bring to the assignment

We can bring a lot of love, responsibility, and genuine care to the assignment. We are both calm, respectful, and reliable people, and we understand how important it is to keep a home clean, safe, and well cared for.
Also, since we both work remotely, we are able to spend a lot of time at home and provide company and care to pets throughout the day.
But most importantly, we would treat your home and animals as if they were our own.
