About this sitter

I'm a Spanish artist in my thirties, a calm, responsible and caring person with many years of experience living with and looking after cats.

I have spent many years caring for my own cats through both their healthy years and periods of illness, including administering medication when needed, both oral and injected. I've also looked after other people's cats, and I'm very comfortable adapting to each cat's personality, routine and needs.

I understand that every cat is different. Some are affectionate and social, while others need more time and space to feel comfortable with a new person. I always respect their pace and routines and pay close attention to their behaviour and wellbeing.

As a house sitter, I am respectful, tidy and considerate of the home I am staying in. I treat other people's homes with the same care I would expect someone to show towards my own. I am also happy to look after plants and take care of the small everyday things that keep a home running smoothly.

I work as an artist and travel occasionally for artistic residencies, which is what brought me to house sitting. I enjoy discovering new places, but I also genuinely like the slower rhythm of staying in one home, having a routine and sharing that time with animals.

In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, listening to music, visiting exhibitions and exploring new places and nature. I'm independent and quiet, and I enjoy spending time at home with animals.

Why they want to house sit

For me, house sitting is a lovely way of experiencing a place as a temporary local rather than simply visiting as a tourist. I especially enjoy the pet-sitting side of it: getting to know an animal's personality, keeping their familiar routine while their owners are away, and making sure they are happy and well cared for.

I know that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pets is a big decision. My priority is for owners to be able to go away feeling completely comfortable that their home and animals are in safe, caring hands.
