Hi!
My name is Nina from The Netherlands.
After working for the Dutch government for 25 years I followed my heart and now spend a lot of time in my second home Crete.
I work online (part-time), am a freelance tourleader and I have started my own photography business called Meraki Moments. Meraki in Greek means doing what you do with passion, love and creativity.
I have been a cat mom for 22 years to my dear Luna who passed away in 2024. At the moment I look after our community stray cat on Crete.
I love dogs as well, even rescued one from Crete who now lives with parents.
I am looking for a house sit for a minimum of 1 week in Greece, The Netherlands (The Hague Area), or Italy.

Why they want to house sit

I would love to housesit, not only to explore more of Greece and Italy, but also to be able to cuddle and take of your cats since I miss the company of my Luna.
In the Netherlands it would be house sits to be close to friends and family, since I have just sold my house and am still exploring my options for the (near) future.

Their experience

I have had my own cat for 22 years. Luna was a special cat, who didn't really care for other people but me. She was quite anxious and scared but always felt safe on my lap.
And I have cat sat for friends and neighbours, both in their homes or coming round several times a day.
I will treat your home as if it is my own. And of course I will send you lots of photos from your cats:-)

What can they bring to the assignment

I bring great care and many cuddles to your cats. I give them the space they need to get to know me, and if they like to they can of course sleep on the bed:-)
I will follow your guidance and instructions of how to care for your cat(s) by the letter and I will send you regular updates.
Of course I will also take good care of your home, and I am respectful to your neighbours.
