About this sitter

I’m a Danish farmer’s daughter, so I grew up with animals around me and learned early on that they all have their own personalities – and opinions.

I’m independent, practical and responsible, and I’m used to taking care of both animals and a home. I enjoy being somewhere long enough to get a feel for the place, rather than simply passing through.

I’m looking for house sits where I can enjoy everyday life in a different part of the world, preferably with animals to keep me company. Dogs, cats, horses, chickens – I’m quite at home with all of them.
I’ll take good care of your home, respect the way you like things done, and make sure your animals feel safe and happy while you’re away.

Why they want to house sit

I love travelling, but I’m much more interested in experiencing how people actually live than ticking off tourist attractions.
House sitting gives me the chance to stay somewhere for a while, have a bit of everyday life in a new place – and, very often, the pleasure of having animals around.
For me, that’s a pretty perfect combination.

Their experience

I’m new to this platform, but definitely not new to responsibility.
I’ve looked after homes and holiday houses for friends and family over the years, and I’m the kind of person who takes very good care of things – my own home included.
I’ve owned and run my own business for many years and being responsible for employees, clients, deadlines and all the things that simply have to work. I’m mature, independent, practical and reliable.
So while I may not have a long list of house-sitting reviews here yet, I do come with plenty of real-life experience – and I know what it means to be trusted with something that matters to someone else.

Reliability, responsibility and peace of mind.
I’m mature, independent and practical, and I take other people’s homes and belongings as seriously as I take my own. I’m very tidy, respectful and used to dealing with whatever everyday life throws at me without making a drama out of it.

Having grown up on a farm, I’m also confident and comfortable around animals and understand that good pet care is about much more than feeding and walking – it’s about noticing how they are doing and keeping their routines familiar.
Most importantly, if I say I’ll take care of your home and animals, you can trust that I will.
