Hello! We are a homeschooling family of five who love spending time together, exploring new places, and experiencing different communities while being responsible and respectful guests in other people's homes.

As a homeschooling family, our home life is centered around routine, responsibility, learning, and spending quality time together. We understand the importance of maintaining a peaceful, clean, and organized household, and we would treat your home with the same care and respect we give our own.

We are new to house sitting through MindMyHouse, but we are dependable, attentive, and committed to making every house-sitting experience a positive one for both the homeowner and their pets.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting is a wonderful opportunity for our family to experience new places while providing homeowners with peace of mind.

Rather than simply traveling as tourists, we enjoy experiencing an area as a local—having a comfortable home base, establishing a routine, exploring the surrounding community, and caring for a home and pets along the way.

Our homeschooling lifestyle also gives us flexibility that traditional school schedules may not provide. We can often work our educational routine around the needs of your pets and home.

Their experience

While we are new to house sitting as a family, I personally have years of experience caring for homes and property. I grew up helping clean and care for homes, and I also spent time helping care for my grandfather’s farm, which taught me the importance of responsibility, maintaining property, following routines, and taking care of things that belong to someone else.

As a family, we are accustomed to traveling together and maintaining routines in different environments. My children are older, responsible, respectful, and understand the importance of treating other people's homes and belongings with care.

Our homeschooling lifestyle also means we are comfortable spending time at home and maintaining a consistent daily routine. We understand that caring for someone's home and pets is a responsibility that requires trust, attention to detail, and reliability.

Although we don't yet have a history of completed house sits, we are bringing real-life experience with household care, property responsibility, travel, and working together as a family. We are eager to establish ourselves as trustworthy house sitters and would treat your home and pets with the same care and respect we would expect for our own.

What can they bring to the assignment

We can bring reliability, flexibility, and genuine care to the assignment. As a homeschooling family, we are accustomed to creating routines, being responsible with our time, and spending a lot of time at home, which can be especially beneficial for pets that enjoy companionship.

I personally bring experience caring for and maintaining homes, as well as growing up helping care for my grandfather’s farm. I understand that caring for someone’s property requires attention to detail, consistency, and respect.

We can help with everyday household tasks, pet care, watering plants, bringing in mail and packages, keeping the home clean and secure, taking care of trash and recycling, and following any specific instructions or routines you have established.

Most importantly, we bring peace of mind. We will communicate with you, follow your instructions carefully, treat your home and belongings with respect, and make sure your pets receive the attention and care they need while you are away.
