About this sitter

I (Ruth) grew up on a farm with cows, chickens, horses, dogs and cats. I love the country and the outdoors. I have always had at least one pet, both cats and dogs.
Fred grew up in rural North Carolina, was in the service for 9 years and then worked with computers in the private sector. We met in 2019 and married in 2020.
We look for a well-equipped home in an area we have not explored or someplace we have and want to return to! We are neat and tidy people and prefer to find and leave a home very clean.

Why they want to house sit

We love to travel and explore. Taking care of someone's home and pets in exchange for lodging is win-win for all involved, especially the pets who get to remain in their own home with their own routines. We do our very best in making your pets comfortable and give them lots of loving care.
We are responsible and reliable as well as great communicators!
We will follow all of your requirements, but enjoy some time during the day to drive around and explore whatever there is to see and do.

We are very friendly, responsible people who get along well with everyone and all pets. We love meeting new people and their pets. We always follow expectations to the letter and communicate with pet parents while you are away, with photos and videos of your pets. We will provide lots of tender, loving care, just as we do our own pets.
