I’m a 60-year-old nurse from Oklahoma who loves discovering new places, especially places with beautiful scenery, cooler weather, nature, and a little adventure.

I’m responsible, dependable, respectful of other people’s homes, and naturally attentive to details. As a nurse, caring for people and being trustworthy are simply part of who I am. I understand that a home is personal, and if someone entrusts me with their home and pets, I take that responsibility seriously.

I’m an independent and fairly quiet person. I enjoy hiking, being outdoors, exploring new towns, discovering local places to eat and shop, and simply having time to enjoy my surroundings. I’m equally happy with a peaceful evening at home with a book or a movie.

I’m hoping house sitting will give me the opportunity to experience parts of the country I might otherwise never get to know. I’m especially drawn to beautiful natural settings, mountains, forests, rivers, lakes, and communities where I can slow down and enjoy everyday life for a while.

I would treat your home as I would my own—with care, cleanliness, respect, and attention to the little things. I’m also happy to keep you updated while you’re away so you can relax knowing that your home and pets are being well cared for.

Why they want to house sit

I like change and adventure. My three adult children live in California where they were born and raised. Two are in Silicon Valley and the last is in Orange. County. I would welcome the opportunity to visit them while taking care of your home. I am also a mix between a home body and a home nurturer. Taking care of someone's home and pet(s) is something I truly enjoy. When I airbnb, I tend to clean and do the laundry and dishes just to be kind. I get great reviews for being an excellent house guest.

As a nurse, I’m accustomed to being dependable, observant, organized, and prepared. I understand the importance of noticing small things before they become problems, following instructions carefully, and staying calm when something unexpected happens.

I’m respectful of other people’s homes and routines. I will keep your home clean and cared for, bring in mail, manage ordinary household tasks, water plants, and make sure everything is secure while you are away. If there are pets, I will treat them as part of the family and give them plenty of attention, companionship, and affection.

Most importantly, I can offer you peace of mind. I know how important it is to leave your home and pets with someone you trust, and I would take that trust seriously. I’m looking for assignments where I can settle into a place, enjoy the area, and genuinely care for the home as though it were my own.
