Hello, my name is Maico and I am 54 years old and I am from Germany and live in Leipzig. I have a commercial and pedagogic background and meanwhile I started my own digital startup. I like very much cultural activities and beeing in the nature. Also reading books and doing a little bit of sport like Pilates.

Why they want to house sit

Friends of mine told me about their experiences and how it works. They did housesitting as a family with two kids and have already been in several countries and met wonderful people. That made me interesting.
My current family situation is that my wife decided to seperate, means I am going to be divorced in the next year. So I am relatively independent now. I would like to stay the next months up to spring next year in another country.
As I can work online, I just need a location where internet is possible.

Their experience

This would be my first housesitting, butI have a lot of experiences in caretaking of pets and property and also of humans, when I was working in pedagogic area.
I also have a cat (he is going to stay with my ex-wife because she had the cat before she knew me) and as a child and a young boy we always had a dog. And we had a house, so I am used of maintenance and little repairs.

What can they bring to the assignment

I would bring my own car.
