About this sitter

We are a young couple (both 23 years) from Germany. We both grew up in a rural area and were therefore always surrounded by pets. We’ve been together science 7 years, did a gap year, build a campervan and studied a bachelors degree. Now we are working as digital nomads and want to see the world. We are good with all kind of pets. The only thing we need is a stable Wifi connection for our work. Apart from that, we are very low-maintenance 😊.

Why they want to house sit

At the moment we are working as digital nomads so we are not location-bounded. Therefore we want to travel around the world to get to know the local life and have some cute, furry friends around us, who sweeten our free time. It’s also very nice to support people with their pets, so they can leave their home with a clear conscience.

Their experience

Even though we don’t have explicit experience with house sitting, our hearts are all the bigger when it comes to animals. We both grew up with pets, and Lena was actively involved in animal welfare for several years—at one point, we even had four little stray cats at home. If you have dogs, making sure they get plenty of exercise is our top priority, because for us, dogs aren't just "house sitters" ;) And, of course, one thing is a must: lots of cuddles.

What can they bring to the assignment

We both grew up in the countryside, so we both have driver's licenses and are familiar with a remote lifestyle. Yannis is handy and always motivated to find a quick solution. We also enjoy helping out in the garden or watering the plants. We speak German and English, and Lena also speaks Spanish.
