Hello! I’m a 46-year-old American living in Germany. independent solo sitter who is happiest in a quiet, peaceful home with some furry—or feathered—company.

I’m at a point in my life where I’m starting a new chapter and really looking forward to slowing down, seeing some new places, and enjoying a simpler, more peaceful way of life for a while. I’m naturally a homebody, so when I’m caring for your home, I’ll actually be there quite a bit. That means your pets will have plenty of company, attention, cuddles (if they want them!), and someone around to keep their normal routine.

I’m mature, responsible, and very respectful of other people’s homes. I don’t drink or use drugs, and I’m not looking for nightlife or a place to entertain people. Give me a comfortable home, some animals to love, and a peaceful place to land for a little while, and I’m pretty happy.

Why they want to house sit

I’m at a point in my life where I feel like I’ve worked too hard for too long, and I’m ready to slow down and actually enjoy life for a while. I don’t need excitement or a packed schedule. These days, what I crave more than anything is peace—the chance to see new places, enjoy the little things, and just breathe a little.

Their experience

I’m brand new to the whole traveling sitter thing, but I’m genuinely excited about the chance to get out of my little corner of the world, experience new places, and spend some time with animals along the way.

I’m naturally a pretty quiet person at home, so I’m a great fit for pets who would rather have a calm, gentle companion than someone bringing a lot of noise and activity into their space. I especially love cats and parrots, and I understand that sometimes the best way to win an animal over is simply to respect their routine, their boundaries, and let them come to you when they’re ready.

Birds are especially close to my heart. I have more than 30 years of experience with large parrots, particularly macaws and Amazon parrots, so I’m very comfortable with their personalities, routines, quirks, and the very big attitudes that can come in those feathered little bodies.

My goal is really just to make your pets feel as safe, comfortable, and loved as possible while their person is away.

What can they bring to the assignment

I live a pretty quiet, homebody kind of lifestyle, so I’ll be at the house most of the time. Your cats or birds won’t be left alone for long stretches, and they’ll get plenty of attention, company, and consistency while you’re away.

I’m very respectful of other people’s homes and will treat yours the way I’d want someone to treat mine. I’m happy to collect the mail, water indoor plants, keep things tidy, and make sure everything stays safe and secure so you can come home to your house just the way you left it.

I also know how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so I’m more than happy to send regular pictures, texts, and little updates. I want you to be able to enjoy your time away without wondering whether everyone back home is okay.

For me, the most important thing is simple: your pets are safe, happy, loved, and well cared for, and your home is treated with respect while you’re gone.
