About this sitter

To say I love animals is an understatement. Truthfully, I love them more than people. I travel the world and the first thing I do as I explore markets is pick up dry food so I can feed stray dogs. Cats get wet food 😉👍 I have been a long time Foster/rescuer of cats primarily since I’ve had one, a Tuxedo for over 16 years sadly he passed away in April. I’m currently traveling but want to come back to the states. I got rid of my rental after he passed and looking to see where else I want to make in the US my home. I’ve always been told I have an East Coast vibe and was looking to go there, but I love the Pacific Northwest so I’m open to going back but I’m game for anything really within reason of course. Ha! I’m looking for a long-term sit 2+wks so I can explore the areas and see what fits. I’m hoping for some Cats in my life. I’ve been housesitting all over the UK and it’s been a summer of dogs and I miss them but of course I will always welcome dogs. I have a soft spot for senior dogs (cats too) and bully breeds. I’m comfortable, administering oral meds. Anxious animals are 👍. I believe in giving space there’s no need to rush. Everyone relaxes in their own time. No need to force. Oh I’ve also house sat with chickens. Been house sitting for a few years now and it’s such fun caring for pets (& being in a comfortable home) while exploring a new city. In my opinion, a home isn’t a home without the noise (or mess😆) of animals. Speaking of, I do keep a clean house. I have a bit of sensitive skin as much as I am an animal lover. I am also highly allergic shockingly, so have to be quite fastidious about cleanliness because I can’t live without them so you do get the bonus of having a clean home.

Decades since 2007 I started fostering. Since 2016 I started pet sitting and housesitting and everything else along with it a couple years ago I am comfortable with administering meds along with anxious and senior pets.
