About this sitter

I’m 26, open-minded, easy-going and someone who feels very comfortable around animals. I grew up with pets and we have a family dog, so having animals around has always been a normal part of my life.
I’m looking for house sits where I can take good care of someone’s pets and home while getting to know a new place in a more local, relaxed way. I’m flexible when it comes to the type of sit - I’m just as happy with long dog walks as I am keeping a cat company at home.

Why they want to house sit

For me, house sitting is a really nice combination of two things I genuinely enjoy: being around animals and discovering new places.
I also like the idea of experiencing somewhere beyond the usual hotel or tourist perspective. Having a pet to look after gives the stay a bit of routine and makes it feel more like everyday life, which I really enjoy.

Their experience

I’ve grown up with animals (cats, fish, hamsters, bunnies, etc. horses partly) around me, so feeding, walking, playing, keeping an eye on their behaviour and simply making sure they feel comfortable is all very familiar to me.

We also have a family dog, so I’m used to the responsibility and routine that comes with caring for a pet. I've also been petsitting since I was 16 years old and have also occasionally house-sitted for friends, colleagues and family. Since I do not have any references around other parts of Europe I thought I might join this community! :)

What can they bring to the assignment

I’m reliable, respectful and adaptable, and I take the responsibility of looking after someone else’s pet and home seriously.

I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine closely, keep you updated while you’re away and give them the amount of attention they’re used to. I’m also tidy and careful with other people’s homes, and I’d want you to come back feeling like everything was well looked after.
