About this sitter

We are Cami and Bruno, an Italian-Argentine couple and full-time travelers who have been house sitting and caring for homes and pets since 2022. Although we are based in Italy, we spend part of the year traveling throughout the USA and Canada in our self-converted motorhome, which we keep in Canada between our travels. We will be returning to Italy in October 2026, mainly to spend the winter there, and we are currently looking for house sits where we can enjoy a comfortable home base while caring for someone else's home and pets.

Over the past few years, we have cared for more than 20 homes across the USA and Canada, as well as a private villa in Parma, Italy, which we looked after for a full year. Until now we always used Trusted Housesitters platform for looking houses but now we are joined also here! We are experienced with dogs of different sizes and personalities, and we understand that every home and every pet has its own routine and needs.

We also travel with our two beloved dogs, Mili and Pipa, who are 12 and 10 years old. They are calm, well-behaved and used to traveling and adapting to new environments. Living and traveling with our own dogs has given us an even deeper understanding of how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their own home.

We are quiet, responsible and respectful people. We treat every home as if it were our own, keeping it clean, organized and well cared for. We are also comfortable with the practical responsibilities that come with looking after a property, including watering plants, collecting mail, keeping an eye on the house and communicating promptly with the owners if anything needs attention.

We travel frequently, but house sitting is much more than simply finding a place to stay for us. We genuinely enjoy having a home base, taking care of animals and experiencing everyday life in a new place while we work remotely. We especially love spending time with dogs and are happy to adapt to their routines, whether that means long walks, playtime, quiet company or simply keeping them comfortable in their own home.

We are mainly looking for house sits where we can provide reliable, attentive care while respecting the owners' routines and expectations. We are open to both short and longer sits and are particularly interested in opportunities where we can build a good relationship with the owners and their pets. We love house sitting because it allows us to combine two things we really enjoy, caring for animals and experiencing life in different places like locals. For most of the year, we travel through the USA and Canada in our self-converted motorhome. However, during the winter we are putting our American road trip on pause and returning to Italy, where we will stay for several months. We both work remotely on different projects, and at certain times of the year we need to stay in one place and dedicate more time to our work. Housesitting is a great fit for this period of our lives and we enjoy having a stable home base. As dog owners ourselves, we understand how important it is to leave your home and pets with someone responsible, caring and trustworthy. We see house sitting as a genuine exchange, owners can travel knowing their home and pets are well cared for, while we can enjoy a peaceful place to live and work.

We can bring peace of mind, flexibility and a practical, hands-on approach. We have extensive experience living off-grid and on the road, so we are comfortable adapting to different environments and dealing calmly with unexpected situations. We built our own motorhome from scratch, which gave us practical knowledge in areas such as construction, electricity, plumbing and general maintenance. We are independent and resourceful, and we are usually able to find a solution when something unexpected comes up. If a house needs a little extra help during our stay, we are always happy to lend a hand when we can, whether it is taking care of small maintenance tasks, dealing with an issue or simply making sure everything keeps running smoothly. We also work remotely, which gives us a flexible schedule and allows us to adapt well to the routines and needs of each home and its pets.
