About this sitter

We are Saqib, Afifah and 6 year old Mairah travelling as a family. We love to travel and explore the world together. I work in IT and my wife is a Doctor . Mairah is a calm and kind kid who loves drawing ,reading and cats and understands the nuances of dealing with them, their needs and moods!

We are currently located in Prague but We’ve spent our lives living, studying and working in different parts of the world and can adapt easily to new environments. We both grew up with cats and also have some experience with farm animals.


We would love to do a video call before anything is agreed. You'll want to see who's coming into your home, and so would we.
We’d also love to share IDs with each other so we can all enjoy our times hassle and worry free!

Why they want to house sit

We’re travelling slowly as a family and would rather live somewhere for a few weeks than pass through it. We've reached the point where hotels feel the same everywhere, and holiday rentals mean seeing a place from the outside, never really living in it.

House sitting solves that: we get to live in a real home in a real place for a few days,becoming a temporary guardian of someone’s home and beloved pet, making sure both feel cared for, comfortable, and respected until their family returns.

It’s a perfect set up for this phase in our lives, where :
* We’re not settled enough to have a pet, yet love animals.
* We have the opportunity to work remotely.
* We home school our daughter and would love for her to be exposed to different cultures worldwide!

Your pet is the major reason why our daughter is excited to be there! ☺️

Their experience

Having moved internationally several times, we’re very comfortable settling into a new place and treating it with the same care and respect as if it were our own.
Over the past year, since we’ve been introduced to house and pet sitting on facebook, we have looked after two homes in Europe:

* A house- swap with a sweet couple from Krakow,Poland
* A cat-sit for two lovely cats in Munich,Germany

We both grew up with cats, so we understand that every cat is different—some are playful and affectionate, while others prefer their space and a calm presence. We’re comfortable following feeding schedule , medicine routines, cleaning litter trays, providing companionship, and making sure they feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away.

What can they bring to the assignment

We'd bring reliability, flexibility, and genuine care. We understand that trusting someone with your home and your pet is a big decision, and we take that responsibility very seriously.

* We live minimally and are clean freaks, non- smokers and we do not drink or do drugs.
* We like a quiet house, we cook rather than eat out and respect the wishes and boundaries of the home owners.
* We tend to spend most mornings and evenings at home, as we travel with our daughter and find a relaxed pace more suited to us.
* We will send you regular updates of your pets so you can actually relax while you’re away and do not miss them too much!
* We're comfortable with cats of any age and understand how important it is for cats to maintain their routines, and we genuinely enjoy sharing our days with them.
* We pay attention and notice when an animal eats less or seems dull, and we'll tell you rather than wait.

You can expect to come back to a house left as we found it or a bit better and a well loved pet. ♥️
