About this sitter

Hi, I’m Aljoscha and I’m from Düsseldorf, Germany.
I grew up with two cats and a dog as neighbors, and for the past five years I’ve had my own Golden Retriever/Hovawart mix, Malie, by my side.
I share custody of my dog with my ex-partner, so she might come along, or I might look after your pets on my own.

As a digital nomad and body therapist (Rolfing), I work with people who suffer from chronic pain(online), and I’m looking for beautiful places where I can work in peace and be around animals.
Whether by the sea, in the mountains, in the city, or in the countryside, I’m open to variety.

Stays of 4 weeks or longer are particularly appealing to me, but I'm flexible depending on the situation.

Why they want to house sit

I’m now traveling as a digital nomad; I’ve closed my private practice and work 100% online.
Making all of this work in collaboration with other digital nomads or as a house/pet sitter feels absolutely right.
Getting to know other countries, places, living situations, people, and animals is exactly what I need right now.

I have a dog of my own, Malie. She's a female Golden Retriever-Hovawart mix.
Since I share it with my ex-partner, she’s only there when it works out on-site—so whether or not you’re allowed to bring your own pets, please let me know either way.
I grew up with two male cats, the neighbor's dog, and a Labrador when I was living in a shared apartment during college.

What can they bring to the assignment

In addition to my experience with animals, I’m a body and pain therapist, and I used to run an indoor farm where I grew vegetables commercially.
Basic handyman skills and my guitar are also my constant companions on the road.
