About this sitter

I am an adventurous and very active 66-year-old woman. I enjoy seeing new areas and experiencing life as a local. I am extremely clean and neat and understand the value of leaving a person‘s home in a better condition than when I found it. I completely understand that I am a guest in someone else’s home and will treat it as such. I also have an affinity for animals of all types. I seem to be something of a dog whisperer. I will take excellent care of your home and your pets. I prefer country settings to big cities. I’m good in an emergency, able to keep my head and problem solve.

Why they want to house sit

I would like to experience new places and get a feel for what it’s like to live as a local.

Their experience

I am not an experienced house sitter, but I have a fair amount of experience, taking care of other people’s animals as well as taking care of my own homes. My primary home is a small hobby farm.

What can they bring to the assignment

I can bring presence to the assignment. I try hard to be present to the moment, open to what it holds and loving to all creatures. I value a clean home and will make sure your home is clean when you arrive back. I will also care for your pets with love and kindness. I like going for long walks and will make sure that your pet gets whatever exercise you would like them to have. I am also open to taking care of farm animals, having had both chickens and goats in the recent past. I have a strong work ethic and am willing to get my hands dirty. Nothing about me is precious or demanding.
