Reliable, Professional House Sitters Based Currently in Montevideo – Available for Short & Long Stays. We’re both professionals. I’m in my 60s. He’s in his near 40s. We’ve been together for 8 years. We both served religious missions when younger.

We are looking for a middle-to-upper class home we can care for and live in while the owners are away.

Why they want to house sit

We are away from our homes in the USA and we want a real home environment where we can care for the house, pets and yard. For short or long term periods. We are living in Montevideo now. But with enough lead time can go anywhere in the world.

Their experience

I’ve house sat professionally when living in Taiwan. I’ve done so casually for friends and family. I can provide excellent references. And can send pics of my home in the U.S. to show the type of home we can care for. Plus we’ve both lived aboard (me Taiwan and Brasil; Oless Samoa, Hawaii, and the Phillipeans), so we understand working within local rules and cultures. We speak some Spanish but wouldn’t consider ourselves fluent.

What can they bring to the assignment

Maturity. Experience and Reliability. We both don’t smoke or drink. We both grew up on farms so we have a love for animals of all kinds (except snakes and spiders). And you would leave with a knowledge that someone that is honest and forthright is caring for your home like I would want others to care for my home.
