About this sitter

I am a registered nurse that has a business that’s well established. My role in the business can be managed remote and I’m looking forward to traveling. I have noticed when I do take vacations I like to be accomplishing something while on vacation. I feel like House and dog sitting while I see the world will be a wonderful combination. My Husband and I want to approach this as a couple. We are so looking forward to this next chapter.

Why they want to house sit

My husband and I recently semi-retired, but he was called back to work full-time in Orlando, so I am traveling back and forth between Indiana and Florida.

I am looking for ways to stay busy and meet new people while I am in Florida during his work hours. I love animals and would love to help out with pets, whether through pet sitting, dog walking, or volunteering.

Their experience

I have almost 30 years experience as a registered nurse. Emergency nursing was my specialty prior to transitioning to vascular access. The past 20 years I have been placing picc lines. I started a company in 2007 that still remains in business today placing PICC lines throughout Indiana in small hospitals and nursing homes. I’ve also raised four very active athletic boys. We have always had pets in the house until recently. My youngest 2 are both currently in college.
My life and professional experiences have really relied heavily resourcefulness and resilience. Your house and your pet will be in good hands.

What can they bring to the assignment

Much life experience and a joy for living and an appreciation for the simple things in life. I bring much energy to my surroundings and the people and animals that I have the pleasure of meeting.
