Hi there! I'm an Italian pet lover based in Barcelona.
I am a filmmaker, educator and curator, traveling across North America. I am taking the chance to visit for some time, since I will be attending a couple of film festivals to present my latest film.
In general, I work from home on my laptop or go for a walk to take some pictures.

I'm looking for a comfortable home where I can work on my laptop and live the place like a local. I don't have a car, so a home that is walkable or near public transport is ideal.

I adore animals and find joy in their companionship.
Traveling to experience authentic local life and its people, beyond typical tourist spots, is my passion. House sitting gives me the combination of both.

Yes. Since 2023 I have been pet sitting regularly through TrustedHousesitters, HouseCarers and HomeExchange, across Asia (Bali, Japan), Europe and Mexico. On HomeExchange I have done 22 home exchanges (as guest and host), all rated 5 stars.

Growing up in an Italian town close to the countryside, surrounded by a variety of animals, was my norm. Dogs and especially cats have always been constants. My cats Luma and Amadeo, a sister-brother duo, lived with me in Barcelona and later in Italy. Amadeo was a night roamer and a fighter, and caring for his injuries taught me how to administer medicines and special care. They both left me recently, at 18 and 17 years old, so I am comfortable with senior pets, medication and special care.

Recently, I have been sitting for Oreo, a beautiful Dalmatian in Barcelona. I've also cared for a friend's home and guinea pigs, and for Clementina, a lively turtle.

What can they bring to the assignment

I'm adaptable, tidy, a non-smoker and great with animals and plants. I'm comfortable with senior pets, medication and special care.
While I'm there, I'll send you photo updates of your pets as often as you like.
As a solo traveler I'm used to being independent, and I speak English, Spanish, French and Italian.
