About this sitter

Warm greetings! My name is Sarah and I’m a 44yr old mom/partner/veteran/avid traveller from Ontario Canada! I’m a retired Canadian veteran and 2 of my 3 kids are flown and grown leaving behind my wonderful partner (who can also accompany me or I’ll travel alone) my teen son and 2 furtastic dogs named Rex & Reggie. We have always been a dog family so I will add that to my résumé of responsibilities as well. I love to travel, squeezing in 1-3 trips a year fills my cup. I just got back from Costa Rica this month and already planning my next adventure! I have all the love, time and respect to give to your home as I do my own. I’d likely do most of my sitting alone or depending on dates and scheduling bring my family (minus the dogs)

Why they want to house sit

I think this is an outstanding platform where like-minded individuals can both benefit from the opportunity of community and rest easy while both being able to travel alone or with my son and partner.

Their experience

I’d like to think I’m experienced in the way of life and I have an understanding that humans were always meant to travel. Fortunately and unfortunately, in the same breath, we have real life responsibilities such as pets and the home itself. I am experienced in life, I possess respect for the things I have worked hard for and responsible for living things I keep happy and healthy! I’ve got a 16yr medical background behind me and my wits about me so I think I’m keen for any tasking.

What can they bring to the assignment

I’ve been a homeowner for 25 years, a mother for 21 years, I’ve served my country, I’ve had multiple pets, I’m an avid traveller and a damn good human being. I am as experienced as I can be to assist others while also allowing my soul to heal while visiting other countries.
