Why they want to house sit

I love animals, and there's nothing nicer in my book than having a furry friend to hang out with while I'm writing and to cuddle with in the evening (if I am so honored). There was a pet allergy in our family while my kids were growing up, so now I'm making up for lost time.

Their experience

I am an experienced sitter who's been taking care of homes and pets through Trusted Housesitters for nearly two years. At this time, I have 18 recent sits under my belt of both cats and dogs and a five-star rating.

I'm former membership director of a nonprofit for writers, and these days I’m traveling in my van, house/pet sitting, and working on my own writing. I love animals and grew up in the country with 14 outdoor cats and 3 different dogs. I sat for a lot of professors as a grad student and thought it would be fun to return to that as an experienced adult who has owned her own home and raised two children. And it has been!

What can they bring to the assignment

I'll be there most of the time as I work on my writing projects, and I will also leave your home clean and tidy. I'll send pics of your pets regularly, and I'll communicate any questions or worries right away. I am also experienced with administering medication and monitoring pets health.
