About this sitter

We are an active, non-smoking professional couple working as an Architect and an Event Manager.

Since we both work primarily from home, we are able to provide consistent presence, companionship, and close supervision for your pets and property throughout the day. Having travelled extensively worldwide, we have gained a great deal of adaptability, experience living with diverse groups of people and pets.

We absolutely love all kinds of animals and they are beloved family members. The love, attention and care we gave to our pets will be exactly what we give to your pets while we look after them. we will love them and care for them like they were our own pets.

In addition to ensuring your pets are happy and safe, your property will be in expert hands. While living in New Zealand, I worked as a gardener, so I can keep your lawns, plants, and outdoor spaces well maintained.

We are highly responsible, clean, and fully understand the value of treating your home with the utmost respect.

Why they want to house sit

We are currently looking to settle down, and house sitting allows us to explore different parts of Italy before choosing our forever home.

More than anything, we truly miss having pets in our daily lives. House sitting offers the best of both worlds: we get to experience new regions, while giving your pets all the love and attentive care they deserve and keeping your home secure while you are away.

Their experience

While we are new to MindMyHouse, we both grew up with dogs of all breeds and sizes. We have firsthand experience with all the daily love, duties, and attentive care dogs need, as well as a deep understanding of how to cater to different temperaments and energy levels.

Our lifetime companions have included a Rhodesian Ridgeback (Nala), German Shepherds (Mops and Rex), a Collie/Dutch Shepherd mix (Joey), a Vizsla (Lucy), a small mixed-breed (Tegola) and a Border Terrier (Luigi).

Beyond dogs, we are equally comfortable caring for other animals. Having looked after cats, fish, turtles, and chickens for friends and family while they were away.

What can they bring to the assignment

- Constant compansionship to your pets and we you house will be kept clean, secure, and impeccably cared for throughout our stay.
- We are very active and love going on long walks or runs, so we are happy to give energetic dogs all the activity they need. Equally, if your pets require shorter, gentler walks, we will tailor our routine strictly to your requests.
- We have experience looking after dogs, cats, turtles, fish and chickens.
- We are happy to send regular photo and video updates (as often as you’d like!)
- We are eco-conscious and very mindful of energy and water use, ensuring we never waste resources in your home.
