I’m a trustworthy, dependable, and caring woman, a former nurse, and a lifelong lover of animals and nature. I bring a calm, attentive presence to the homes and animals entrusted to my care, along with a genuine appreciation for beautiful, peaceful surroundings.

I enjoy an active, healthy lifestyle that includes walking, hiking, Pilates, and spending time outdoors. I also love time with family and friends, meeting people from different places, and quiet moments with a good book or the pleasure of learning something new.

I’m especially drawn to homes surrounded by natural beauty, whether near the ocean, in the countryside, or nestled in a lovely neighborhood with wonderful places to walk. I’m equally happy in a peaceful city or suburban setting.

I much prefer settling into a home and experiencing the rhythms of everyday life to simply passing through as a tourist. I enjoy discovering local walking trails, neighborhoods, cafés, and the little things that make each place special.

Most importantly, I love the companionship of animals and the sense of purpose that comes from caring for them. There’s something especially rewarding about knowing that homeowners can travel with peace of mind, confident that their pets are loved and their home is being treated with genuine care and respect.

Yes! I have both formal house-sitting experience, including an assignment arranged through HouseCarers, and informal experience caring for homes and pets for friends and family. I have received lovely written references from previous homeowners, which I’m happy to share.

I’ve had a lifelong love of animals and extensive personal experience caring for them. Over the years, I’ve owned multiple Dobermans, my favorite breed, and welcomed a wonderful variety of animals into my life, including dogs, cats, other domestic pets, and rescued wild creatures needing a safe place to recover.

These experiences have taught me to appreciate each animal’s individual personality, routines, and needs. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, exercise, play, and providing patient, affectionate companionship.

As a former nurse, I bring strong observational skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a calm, practical approach to unexpected situations.
