About this sitter

Hello! We’re Alejandro and Luján — Ale and Lu — a couple from Argentina travelling while running our own businesses online.

We are currently in Mallorca, where we are caring for a dog. We would love to continue exploring Europe through longer house and pet sits, getting to know each place while providing company and care for pets in their familiar surroundings.

We understand how much trust it takes to welcome someone into your home and leave your pets in their care. We would be happy to arrange a video call, get to know you and discuss your pets’ needs before confirming a stay.

Why they want to house sit

We enjoy travelling slowly, getting to know everyday life in a new place and settling into a routine. House and pet sitting brings together the companionship of animals and the opportunity to experience a place as a temporary home.

We value this as a mutual exchange: a welcoming place to stay in return for attentive pet care and respect for your home. Our aim is to follow your pets’ familiar routines and keep you updated so you can feel comfortable while you are away.

We have cared for Zoe in Entre Ríos, Argentina, and Otto in Mar del Plata, Argentina. We are currently caring for Dana, a dog in Mallorca, Spain.

These experiences have shown us how important it is to get to know each pet’s personality and follow the routines they are used to at home.

Before each sit, we like to discuss feeding times, walks, companionship and any individual needs with the owners. We are happy to follow written instructions and send photos and updates during the stay.

We are honest about our experience and would discuss any medication or specialist care requirements carefully before accepting a sit.

What can they bring to the assignment

As a couple, we can share the daily care responsibilities and support each other in following your pets’ routines.

We both run our own businesses online and would work from your home, allowing us to spend time around your pets during the day. We would discuss our schedules with you beforehand to make sure they fit your pets’ needs. A reliable internet connection is essential for our work.

We offer companionship, feeding and walks according to your instructions, along with keeping your home clean and tidy. We are happy to send regular photos and updates, and would contact you promptly if any concerns arise.

Our main language is Spanish, and Alejandro speaks a little English. Written instructions and translation tools help us communicate clearly and follow your guidance carefully.
