Mid 60s trustworthy couple - classical musicians and teachers

About this sitter

Hello, we are a married couple who have been working as classical music both as players and teachers. We were working at an international school in India for 7 years and returned to the UK in 2024. We have loved house sitting since then as we don't currently have a permanent home so are looking for interesting and exciting opportunities to live for short, medium or long term lengths of time. We have 7 grown up children ages range from 20 - 38 all of whom went to or are at UK top universities. We also love looking after animals and enjoy cycling, walking and outdoor life.

Why they want to house sit

We enjoy the experience living exploring different areas and the creative space house sitting gives us. I, Christopher am writing some education books and writing music for theatre groups. Rebekka visits care homes and education projects in different areas providing music entertainment on her viola. We have enjoyed the financial freedom it has given us to be creative and also focus on people. We have also loved looking after all sorts of animals and pets in the last 2 years.

We have been house sitting for 2 years with housesitters.co.uk. We have looked after many different properties as well as different pets and animals ranging from labradors to a flock of sheep! We have house sat at least 2 or 3 times for many of them.

What can they bring to the assignment

We do our best to treat any property and animals entrusted to us as if it were our own and to a high standard. We are conscientious and try to go the extra mile in our care, communication and commitment to any responsibility we are given.
