Responsible, cat loving sitter available for care of house, cats, gardens

About this sitter

I'm a homeowner in Canada looking to experience other areas of my country or the world. I love cats, grew up with different kinds of animals. I am not afraid of hard work. I like to keep my house tidy and during the summer, I am often found working in my little backyard flower garden. My love of flowers, I inherited from my mother. I also enjoy nature, hiking, and cycling. I have joined this house sitting network in the hopes of finding people/pets/homes that need tlc on a temporary basis.

Why they want to house sit

I love to experience new things and places. House sitting in different parts of the country or the world would satisfy my traveling bug and allow me to enjoy 'living like the locals' for a few weeks or months at a time. Having cats to keep me company would be an added bonus! I do not currently have any pets as like to travel so pets would have to be taken care of while I'm away.

Their experience

I am a homeowner so I do have experience in maintaining a home. I am very familiar with house cleaning, yard work, and minor maintenance. I am not afraid of using a lawnmower, power tools, paint brush, shovel, etc. Regarding pets, I don't currently have any but grew up with lots of them and feel very comfortable around them (but not lizards, snakes, spiders, etc).

What can they bring to the assignment

I am a very honest and hard working individual. I respect other people's property and understand the care one would expect for their pets. I would want anyone that leaves their home/cats in my care to feel 100% comfortable that I would do everything that is expected of me. I do not shy away from any task and am not afraid to ask for help if I am in a situation that I don't know how to handle on my own.
