Retired teacher from Heidelberg, Germany has lifetime experience with cats , some with dogs and birds and with gardening as well.
Why they want to house sit
I was always a passionate traveler, interested in foreign cultures, music, art and literature and able to communicate in five languages (German, French, Spanish, English and some Italian). In addition to that, I love hiking , biking and being in nature. Be careful: I tend towards falling in love with the pets I sit !
That's why I would be more than happy to take care of your house, pets and garden, where ever they may be situated in our beautiful world.
Their experience
I've already done an assignment at a house with a huge garden and a chow chow in Northern France and in a beautiful 300 years old house with a labrador, four ducks and a garden in Bavaria. After that, I took care of a Victorian House with nine cats and a garden in London. Back from a six months house sit with two dogs and a cat in Mexico , I got a five weeks house sit with a cat in Paris . And then another one with a dog in Munich. After that again , I took care of a cat in Paris and last , but not laest , I flew to the Azores , where I had a house-and pet sitting with two wonderful cats . Great experience with Regine! I had the chance to spend an entire week with her in my flat due to a change of my travel programs. She was lovely and supportive while I was having some personal problems! I enjoyed her company as she was a teacher and she has many interests in art and literature. She speaks Italian very well so communication was easy and funny! She looked after everything just as I agreed she would and my cats were very happy and the flat super tidy when I returned home. Perfect cat sitter
Regine took care of my cat for almost three weeks this summer. It was my first experience with this site and Regine exceeded all my expectations! She is a real cat lover, from the start she was very interested in getting to know my cat better and build a connection. And she succeeded; she befriended my cat even though the cat is an extremely shy animal. Regine is very reliable; it was super easy to agree her arrival terms etc. She also took excellent care of my flat and after her stay it was definitely cleaner than I left it. She even wrote me a very nice “welcome back from a holiday” letter. I also very much enjoyed the time I spent with Regine, she is very friendly, open, respectful and easy to talk to. Wonderful cat sitter, our cats were so happy!
Regine was wonderful and looked after our cats so well, they were so calm and contented when we arrived home after 3 weeks. Regine looked after the house beautifully too, it was so lovely to come back to a clean and tidy house with lunch already prepared for us after our journey! I would definitely recommend Regine to other house owners. She is extremely trustworthy and has a real connection with cats. I really enjoyed getting to know her during our time together before we left and on returning and I hope we get to meet again in the future.
