About this assignment

My ideal sitter is someone who loves animals, enjoys walks, and is happy to spend time exploring new places. Families are welcome, Max the dog adores children and is very gentle around them.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The only responsibilities are care of Patch the cat and Max the dog, who needs to walks a day and lots of cuddles. Otherwise I hope you will take reasonable care of the property, replace any supplies you use up (food stuff, loo paper...) and leave it clean.

What are the good features of the property and location

The house is the last on a country lane surrounded by fields but in walking distance of an enchanting French village with lots to offer. There are restaurants, cafes, large and small supermarkets, a variety of shops, a busy Saturday market and beautiful middle-age buildings. People are friendly and welcome tourists.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Will you be happy in a quiet space with almost no passersby? There is good wifi here but no functioning television. It would be helpful for you to have some French - or a good dictionary. It is essential that you access to a car.
