About this assignment
The house is located in a rural part of Andalusia, outside Montefrio. It has two holiday apartments and a pool. We need house and pet sitters to look after the plants, two dogs and a cat. The sitters stay in the independent accommodation on site with a living room, bathroom, double bedroom, and kitchen - it's for our holiday guests. Because of the remote location, the house sitters will need to have their own car. Free wifi and netflix in the apartments.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Look after our two dogs, Bobby and Blacky and a cat, Whitey.
The dogs like to go for long walks.
Look after the property, water the plants, run the pool pump and clean your space at the end of the stay.
House sitting dates are a little flexible
What are the good features of the property and location
Our house is located 1000 meters above the sea levels with stunning views over the mountains and the olive groves. It's completely peaceful and surrounded by nature. Lots of hiking and mountain biking is available around us. Sitters can relax by the pool and enjoy outdoor living. The village of Montefrio is 15 min by car. Alcala la Real 30 mins by car and Granada is 60 mins by car.

What a beautiful housesit
Great communication with Sabina prior during & following the sit. Robert & Sabrina are an easy going, welcoming & friendly couple. Blacky & Bobby are the stars of the show! They're great company. They love a good walk through the olive groves, which are right on the door step. We walked three times a day, taking in the beautiful scenery all around. The sunsets are something special. We stayed in one of the rental suites, it is authenticly beautiful, and for the chilly nights there's a roaring log burner to keep you warm. Whitey, the cat, stayed upstairs, but really enjoyed some company at feeding times, loved a cuddle and to be stroked. The stray cats wait patiently for their dinner each day, they are cute, and can move fast when Blackys around :) This is a really enjoyable housit, for lovely people, set in a beautiful location, with very loving dogs, and characterful cats. We'd recommend it if, like us, you're an animal lover who enjoys peace & tranquility. Thank you Sabrina & Robert, we'll look forward to next time.

Comfortable stay with pets
I really enjoyed my stay at Sabina & Roberts. The accommodation is very comfortable. It's a beautiful quiet spot in the Andalucian countryside, The dogs Blacky (Lab ) & Bobbie (Jack Russell) are sweet boys, who want to be with you all the time. Especially in winter. You can leave them when you want to go out. Sabina & Robert are very relaxed hosts and easy to feel comfortable and communicate with. Some lovely walks in the area. Thanks

Lovely dogs and beautiful place
Sabina and Robert are very nice, friendly and open people. We feel very comfortable and welcoming. The dogs are very friendly and good listening. We wolk them twice in the day. In the morning and in the evening. Also the cat is very nice and friendly. The first day we didn't see her but from the second day she came every day say hello. When we were home the dogs were all the time with us. The like the company and we also. The house and the area is beautiful and safe. The apartment where we were staying was perfect with the beautiful view and the swimming pool was great. The people in the village are also very friendly. Thank you Sabina and Robert for the nice first evening and let us take care of your lovely dogs, cats and the house.We enjoyed everything and hope come back again. Thank you.

Spanish country house - Andalusia
I had the pleasure of pet - house sitting for Sabina and Robert in September for 10 days at their lovely home in Andalusia. They have a beautiful country home that is also has two newly renovated apartments attached, that they rent out for holiday makers. I was able to stay in one of the apartments, thus having my own space and being close enough to look after their sweet little dog, who is wonderful company and two affectionate cats who more of less go about there own business independently, only one needing some medicine once a day and quite used to the routine, so very easy. The place is in the mountains in between Granada and Cordoba, a country house set in amongst olive groves, making it a very peaceful and tranquil place to chill out next to the pool, to go for walks with the dog or to go on day excursions to neighboring villages or towns. It was lovely to meet Sabine and Robert. I felt comfortable with them from the start and was pleasantly surprised that they had even prepared a meal for us to eat together the night before going away. They are a very friendly couple and easy going. Unfortunately I had some car trouble and they were so kind to organize for a mechanic to fix the problem and then for a neighbor to take me to the garage, a great help. I was left with clear instructions,we kept in touch every day and the house was all very clean and tidy. A most enjoyable and memorable stay. Thank you to Sabine and Robert.

Wonderful peaceful location
We feel so grateful to have met Sabina and complete this house sit. Sabina is one of the warmest, friendliest people you could meet and her home and accommodation was simply stunning. Bobbie and the cats were no problem at all and all were great characters. Bobbie is such a wonderful dog and we loved taking him for walks each day. He has a lovely personality and it so much fun spending time with him. Sabina was very relaxed and gave us great instructions for the care of her home and perfect directions to the location. The location is so peaceful and in a fantastic region with many sights to visit nearby. We would house sit for Sabina again without a second thought and would highly recommend this opportunity to anyone.
