About this assignment

I am very much looking forward to meeting a couple who will enjoy being surrounded by animals. People who have past experience and can keep the animals safe whilst enjoying the local area here in the Garfagnana region of Tuscany.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

A sit here involves caring for a horse, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 5 geese and chickens. There is a vegetable garden and you would be welcome to the produce in exchange for some weeding and watering.

What are the good features of the property and location

The property is simple and very typical of the region. Situated on the outskirts of a small village it is very rural and peaceful.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Experience is valuable especially with a horse. The routine here is designed to be simple and I offer a 2-3 day hand over period to settle in.

Can I bring my own pets?
