We love them - Buddy loves everybody and Paddy is older and more reserved until he knows you and we have another small dog called Louey. We also have a 1yr old cat called Jose.
They have 5 testimonial s (view below)
They have WIFI
We have 4 wonderful Boys - Paddy an 11 year old German Shepherd/Mastiff cross breed and Buddy a 6 year old Staffy crossbreed as well as a lovely 1 year old little dog called Louey and a cat called Jose
We would like House sitters to love them and take care of them and our Home and garden whilst we are away.
To feed and play with them and to take care of the living areas in use.
We have an enclosed garden where they can safely play and they are happy to remain within the garden.
We do not walk the boys around the village as there are other dogs that roam freely and can be a nuisance if other dogs are on a lead.
We would like the house sitters to water the plants and trees usually daily.
The garden is on 2 terraces and the terrain is uneven so it would be unsuitable for anyone with mobility difficulties
Our Home is situated in a small hamlet half way up a mountain with lovely views and walks in the area. The downstairs living space includes a large L shaped open plan living room with a dining area and a kitchen.
There is a shower room/toilet off the kitchen area and 2 bedrooms off the living area.
There is a telephone/wi-fi & TV via the Internet...and you can get a mobile signal from the Terrace.!
We have a paved terrace outside with double gates that secures the area for the Boys and we also have 2 large garden terraces with abundant fruit trees.
It is a wonderful place AWAY FROM IT ALL yet only 15 mins from Bedar and the Motorway E17 as well as only 30 mins from Mojacar.
Los Pinos is reached by a winding mountain road with stunning views. There are beautiful Mine Walks adjacent to this road and accessible from the Village. There are no shops or Bars in Los Pinos but Bedar 5 km away has 2 small Supermarkets and a couple of popular Bars/Restaurants. There are also 2 very well known Restaurants locally renowned for their meals.
It is essential that house sitters have their own transport.
House sitters will need their own transport to get to the nearest village/shops and to be able to access the vets 10km away if required. House sitters are welcome to bring a dog/s as all the boys are very playful.
We have just returned from a wonderful 3 weeks at Sue and Jim's in Los Pinhos looking after Paddie, Buddy, Louey and Jose. The boys were a pleasure to look after, very friendly and very well behaved. Jose the cat looked after himself most of the time only popping home occasionally for some food. It was our first time visiting this part of Spain, the location was tranquil the scenery beautiful and we are very much looking forward to returning in the Spring to look after the boys again.
thanks for having us and sharing your wonderful pets with us. we had a great time .
we thoroughly enjoyed our time in sue and jims home. sue was extremely helpful and gave good clear instructions on how to look after the boys.the dogs are so loving and the cat is a lot of fun play fighting with the dogs and loves a cuddle. the area is stunning and peaceful. we left this house sit feeling very relaxed and sad to leave the boys. thank you sue and jim for sharing your home and wonderful pets with us.
We spent seven weeks at Los Pinos (November to January 2017/18) after Sue and Jim had pulled all the stops out to complete some major work on the house to ensure we were comfortable in their home. They are welcoming and generous which made our stay very enjoyable indeed. We were introduced to neighbours in case we needed any advice/help and everything was put in place to make sure the sit went as smoothly as possible. Couldn't wish to meet two nicer dogs in Paddy and Buddy who not only welcomed us but also our greyhound Ernie. Great fun all round. Lovely house in picturesque and peaceful surroundings with many interesting walks for dogs and humans alike. Thanks Sue and Jim. Would love to come again...
We spend six amazing weeks in Sue and Jim's house, enjoying the company of their dogs Buddy and Paddy and their cat José . We arrived a couple of days before Sue and Jim left and we could not have asked for a warmer welcoming and introduction to the pets, house and area. The comunication whilst them being abroad, was always easy and quick. The house is more than confortable and with a beautiful view of the nearby countryside. The area has a lot to offer, from beautiful nature to the nearby beaches. We can definitly recommend accepting the opportunity for a House Sitting with Sue & Jim .
