Lovely lady, charming flat and snuggly cat
Oreo is a beautiful, soft, fluffy ball of affection. He loved to snuggle up beside me in bed at night and to sleep by my feet while I watched TV. He would wait for me outside the flat when I went for my daily walk and escort me back indoors. Jackie kept in constant communication and was always contactable. She is a warm, friendly lady who made me feel like a welcomed friend immediately we met. Jackie has a lovely, light filled flat with delightful ocean views from the bedroom, living room and dining room and very appropriate sea side decor. It’s only a 10 minute walk from the High Street, museums beach and library.

Beautiful Lyme with cuddly cat.
I had a two week stay with cuddly Oreo. A funny cat who likes to play. I did a lot of walking and found the local bus helped up the steep hill on the way back. A friendly town and lovely apartment.

A great cat sit with Oreo
This was a lovely cat sit in a great location in Lyme Regis with a view of the sea from the window. Jackie's home was delightful and spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. Oreo was the star of the show and we really enjoyed being his slaves, he is gorgeous, easy going and very affectionate. He enjoyed a play and loved his treats. We were very lucky with bright dry days that made it easy to get about. Jackie was communicative and left printed instructions. Don't hesitate if you get a chance to do a cat sit here.

Sweet sit with Oreo!
We recently had the great pleasure of sitting for Jackie and her sweet gentleman cat Oreo. Jackie is warm, welcoming, interesting to talk to, and very kindly picked us up in the next town, where the train dropped us off. She has a terrific sense of color and interior design - her apartment is filled with lovely, bright colors and it made us feel like we were on an island holiday. She's up on a hill, and her large windows gave us wonderful views of the town and the English Channel. There is so much to do and see within walking distance, from fossil hunting on the Jurassic Coast, to walks along the river and hikes in the hills, to the best cream tea experience we've ever had (Black Dog Tea Room), to all the interesting shops/restaurants/museums/historic buildings/etc. one could want, that our time flew by and left us wanting to stay longer. Oreo was the perfect feline companion and was always waiting to greet us. He was easy to care for, enjoyed playing with us, and was very affectionate without being demanding. He curled up next to us on the sofa and in bed, melting our hearts. This was a great sit experience that we would be happy to repeat!

Beautiful Devon and Dorset
I had the pleasure of looking after Jackie’s cats, Oreo and Smokey, for two weeks. Jackie made arranging the house sit very straightforward. She provided all the necessary information promptly and was very pleasant to deal with. She is a really interesting person, having travelled and worked in many countries, and I enjoyed meeting her. I found Jackie’s home very comfortable to live in and easy to manage. It is practical, with parking and good wifi and mobile phone signal. It has a lovely view too. The location is great. You can walk beside a river into Lyme Regis and explore the beautiful coast and countryside of Devon and Dorset nearby. Oreo and Smokey were a delight. Oreo is especially playful and loves a game. Smokey is very sociable and likes to chat! Jackie arranged everything to make looking after them as simple as possible. I would be very happy to house sit for Jackie again.

Brilliant House-sit in Lyme Regis
Have thoroughly enjoyed our house-sits in Lyme Regis, such a lovely area. The house was so comfortable and cosy, even on the coldest of days. Jackie and Mya made us very welcome and provided all the information we needed to look after their lovely home and the cats. Oreo and Smokey are absolute sweeties, very affectionate, once they knew you and so very entertaining with their playful antics. Very pretty area with a lovely walk along the river into Lyme Regis, which is an interesting place to spend time in. Lots of other places to visit nearby like Axminster, Bridport, Seaton and Sidmouth, with a brilliant local bus service, which meant we didn't always need to use the car. It was useful having the contact numbers of relatives/friends should it have been necessary, which it wasn't, very helpful though. That said, had we needed to, it would have been very easy to contact Jackie whilst she was away anyway. The instructions/notes she left us regarding the cats' routines etc., made everything so easy. A really perfect house-sit and hopefully we can return another time.
