About this assignment
Looking for a single adult or couple who is responsible, dependable, and has experience taking care of cats. Non-smoker a MUST.
I have two 15-yr old cats -- Buttons and Cleo. I am looking for someone who will feed them twice a day, change the litter when needed, and be sure they have clean water. The kitties love company, so if you are around, they will be happy to sit with you!
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Taking care of my 2 cats and 1-br house while I'm visiting family. As listed above, the person's primary responsibility would be to take care of the kitties. There is a local vet nearby if there are any problems, but I don't anticipate any. Keeping the house clean and bringing in the mail is also part of the plan. That being said, it's a small one bedroom house, so it isn't much work!
What are the good features of the property and location
Quiet, beautiful property (with great views of the mountains and sunsets) on the NE side of Fort Collins in Colorado. 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom. 1 hr from Denver and the DEN international airport. 1 hr from Rocky Mountain National Park. One picture is of the backyard looking out through the catio - the other two outdoor pictures is from Riverbend Ponds Natural Area, which is a little over half a mile from the house.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Please tell me about you -- and please have references that you can give me! YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE YOUR OWN CAR. Driveway parking, no garage.

Great stay, lovable cats
Traci's place was perfect for hanging out over the holiday and getting some work done, some hiking around FoCo, and some much needed rest. It was great because she had a Christmas tree up and decorated, and her place was cozy! Cleo and Buttons both warmed up to me fairly quickly and daily gave me specific instructions on how the house operates. :) It was fun to hang out with the Christmas tree on at night, Christmas carols playing, and a kitty on each side enjoying the season. Traci was super helpful, communicative, and kind. I appreciated her checking in and being available while she was away. I would stay here again, for sure!

Peace & quiet wide open space
Hands down the cleanest environment Traci is meticulous and organized. Very welcoming and friendly she and her 2 elder cats (Buttons & Cleo) create a near effortless sit. This is a duplex and recent remodel with some unfinished portions in a safe area. Buttons loves to play, climb in his catio & sleep in equal measure. Cleo loves pets and to sleep in the sun. Both are loving and will keep you entertained along with the music system. This is an enjoyable sit with excellent hospitality.

Fort Collins
My host, Traci was very accommodating of my schedule. Her location was just as described, an older neighborhood with a beautiful western view and just a short walk or drive to a serene nature area with good walking trails, which I took advantage of each day I was there. Buttons and Cleo were purrfect ladies, and loved cuddling on my lap when I was reading a book. Cat care was easy, the kitchen was well stocked with whatever I needed, and Fort Collins was a short drive away, with so much to do nearby.
