Tortola, British Virgin Islands. Family home needs a sitter for dog and cat

About this assignment

We have a family home and a dog and a cat that need looking after while we visit family in the U.K. and Canada. It's a nice house with a wonderful view on the beautiful Caribbean island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. We have wifi internet and are 10 minutes from the beach.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Looking after the pets and keeping the house clean. The dog loves walks and the cat is pretty low maintenance, just food, fresh water and clean litter box and he’s happy.

What are the good features of the property and location

The house is spacious and cool with a fabulous view. It’s a comfortable family home with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. There’s a nice deck with outside furniture.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The British Virgin Islands are beautiful and great for water sports like sailing and diving. It is hot in the summer months, but our house is quite high up and gets a good breeze. Driving is essential here as there is no other way to get about.
