Senior widow looking for house/ pet/ plant sitter

About this assignment

Stable citizen to take care of my 3 cats, 3 large dogs, 50+ potted plants,( photos available for further info) and general housekeeping. Needs to be organized, and enjoy cuddling with furry beasts. I'd like somebody who doesn't mind living away from the rush and enjoys their own company. Absolutely no smoking, drinking, or drugs of any kind. Which is why you really need to enjoy your own company.;-)

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The house and yard would need to be kept neat and tidy, and the pets would need to be cared for as if they were your own. Plants need to be watered and trimmed, and garbage taken out once a week. It's possible leads may need to be blown into piles sometimes of the year. So keeping the decks front and back cleared would be part of the responsibilities of whoever is here.

What are the good features of the property and location

The house is quite large, and I have two boarders living here. They take care of themselves but would need to have the house, yard and pets taken care of by somebody else. The house is located about 30 minutes from the ocean, and across the street from a golf course. There are things to do and places to go if you look for them, but mostly it's very quiet and serene here. House is located about 35 minutes from Lewes, Delaware (lots of history there), and about 45 minutes from Rehoboth Beach, DE. A trip to Ocean City, Maryland takes about an hour. You could get to DC, Baltimore, or Philadelphia, in about two hours. The zip here is 19947, if you'd like to look it up.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

There's a great deal of entertainment available, just not that close. But if you don't mind your own company, like living under very large trees, and enjoy plants and pets, you'll find this a very comfortable location. Plan to stay a week or a month, perhaps a bit longer, depending on where I go. You could stay gone for several hours during the day, but the dogs cannot be left alone overnight. Which is why I'm asking for assistance. Please note! This is not, repeat, not, a paid position. I am offering room and board with all expenses, except telephone covered. As I live on Social Security, I am not in a position to cover anybody else's financial requirements. Thank you for your patience and understanding with me.
