About this assignment
Reliable responsible house sitter(s) to enjoy our home and the brilliant coastal area of Maine. Care for our house and 2 dogs, 3.5 year old Roisin and 2 year old Winston, springer spaniels, like this was your place!
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
This would be our needs: Stay at the house, feed and let the dogs out, etc., take in the mail, water the plants. Optional, feed the hummingbirds and winged creatures.
What are the good features of the property and location
We are 5 miles from the coast in Midcoast Maine ("Vacationland") lobsters, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, ocean, lakes and rivers, festivals, great eats, breweries, museums, art and music. It is a quiet peaceful setting with forest and a brook behind the house. We have perennial, and herb beds. The main part of the house is open, with views of the woods. We have internet, cable TV, house phone.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
You may need your own vehicle. Ours will be available. They can not have animal allergies. We have 1 testimonials for this is our second time using MMH. You will be a 1.5 hour drive from Portland, our largest city. We are rural.
The dates will get you here a couple days before I leave so I can show you our area and let the pets get used to you before I leave.
