About this assignment

We would prefer a quiet neat, tidy, mature, non smoking/ woman who really loves cats (We have seven)
Ideally a responsible, mature, and attentive person to care for our seven beloved rescue cats, plants, and our home while we are away from the first week in July to early October.
We have recently remodeled this now cozy, light filled, and pretty apartment in beloved Guadalupe, and the cats spend a lot of time on the enclosed rooftop, which we had specially built for them as a catio.
We have put all of our care and resources into this home, and it is very special to us.
We need someone who is extremely clean, a non-smoker, and preferably mature, with prior experience caring for multiple cats. Regular communication is a must so we can stay updated on their well-being.
References are required, and we prefer someone who truly adores cats. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

.The house sitter will care for seven cats, ensuring they are fed each morning and evening. After meals, dishes must be washed, and all areas kept clean. One special cat, who has no teeth, needs separate wet food in the evening. Three automatic self-cleaning litter boxes must also be emptied and kept clean at all times. Plants need bi-weekly care as well. We’re seeking someone who truly loves cats and will maintain a tidy, peaceful environment.

What are the good features of the property and location

We are in the centre of San Miguel, in beloved Guadalupe, and close to everything. There is an organic market closeby, a convenience store, everything you need. Our place is small ~ which is why we added a lovely catio where they love to spend time. but it is bright, airy and comfy.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Please consider that this is a home with seven cats who need daily care and attention. You’ll need to be comfortable with frequent cleaning, especially with the litter boxes, and ensure the cats get their special feeding routines. Also, be sure you’re okay with biweekly plant care. Reliability and a genuine love for animals are a must.
