About this assignment
Hi I'm looking for someone to house sit while we are on vacation.
Look after our dogs and chickens and our home. We have 2 French Bulldogs, and a Maremma sheepdog.
Enjoy the area and everything that it has to offer.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
To maintain the cleanliness of the property, pool and garden.
Walk dogs, feed and care for them. Feed chickens and make sure that that they are let out in the morning and put back at night.
Swimming pool general maintenance which we can explain at the time.
Respect the property and enjoy the facilities.
What are the good features of the property and location
Old water mill with a canal flowing through the property. In the countryside yet 5 minutes from village/shops. 1hr Cannes, Nice, Antibes. 1/2 hr from coast and St Tropez.
We have small private lake with boat. Cycling, Fishing, river behind the house. Bbq. Swimming pool.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Ideally you would need a car, although we can provide bikes and the nearest town is 15 minutes on bike.
Nearest airport is Nice or Marseille both about an hour away by car.
Can I bring my own pets?
No, sorry.

A wonderful place
Diesen Sommer hatten wir das Glück, Tracy und Robs Haus und Pets nahe Vidauban zu hüten. Wir wurden nett empfangen und hatten genug Platz in ihrem Ferienappartement! Die drei Hunde Milos, Luna und Mascha waren sehr zutraulich, freundlich und leicht zu betreuen. Auch die 6 Hühner waren eine nette Aufgabe. Der Platz ist wunderbar, mit kleinem See, Pool , viel Platz zum Spielen. Auch die umgebenden Dörfer sind sehr schön, es war fast jeden Tag eine Veranstaltung, Konzerte, Weinfeste etc. Wir können ein Haussitten bei Tracy und Rob nur empfehlen!

Nice Family with beautiful dogs
Tray and Bob showed us the house and we met the whole family at a barbecue. The dogs are very sweet and didn't require any work.

Great place to spend Christmas and the New Year
We thoroughly enjoyed our house sit in Rob and Tracy's. Pepper and Mascha are two lovely dogs who are easy to look after. The house is situated in a beautiful small village with local amenities. Ideally situated for visiting The French Riveria and other local towns and villages. There are plenty of local walks to take the dogs on. Tracy and Rob were welcoming and kept in touch.
