About this assignment
I am looking for a housesitter to look after our three dogs- a 13 year old spaniel x and two labrador x collies now 1 year old.
They are very easy-going and have 24 hour access to our home and enclosed garden.
They can be left alone for long periods giving the sitter lots of free time to explore the area.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
just looking after the dogs and the house.They are fed twice daily .Ruby can now only go for a short walk and is on heart medication daily.
What are the good features of the property and location
We live in a large property in north cork ireland.we have 4 bedrooms (2 ensuite),with an enclosed garden.This is an ideal opportunity to explore the southwest of Ireland,
we are located close to Cork,kerry,Limerick,and Clare and are situated close to the very popular "wild atlantic way".
A car is also available for any suitable applicants.
The house has all mod cons including a full sky package.'
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
We are quite rural with no public transport.a car might be available for anyone over 25 with
a full driving licence.
However we are within an hours drive of many popular tourist attractions.
Can I bring my own pets?
No, sorry.

Incredible!
I stayed with Catherine, Mike and their three amazing dogs Thedy, Ruby, and Cara over Christmas, minding the dogs and the beautiful house in Kanturk. Not only were the dogs an absolute delight, but Catherine and Mike are such wonderful, kind, and open people. It has been a real highlight of my year and I hope to have many many more visits with this incredible family. We became friends, had wonderful evenings together - and even some ver interesting discoveries!! They are a real treasure I will keep with me for ever.

Easter 2022
Catherine and Michael were very hospitable, they cooked a fine meal for us on our arrival. Michael showed us around the local area and they gave us lots of tips for things to do. The house is spacious, warm and comfortable with a large enclosed garden for the dogs to roam freely and safely. The dogs Ruby and Harrison quickly won our hearts. Ruby with her bouncy ways and Harrison the gentle giant. After they were fed and walked in the morning we were free to travel. There are so many interesting places to visit within an hours drive. We visited Killarney and climbed Strickeen for a great view of Carantuohill and the Devils ladder followed by a visit to Muckross house all in glorious sunshine. A short 15 minute drive was to Doneraille park with its fine grounds and mature forest. Trips to Caher, Mitchelstown Caves, Lough Gur meant we were not stuck for places to visit and things to do. Thank you Catherine and Michael this was a memorable enjoyable housesit.

Perfect house sit
My partner and I looked after catherine &mikes 2 dogs over the xmas/new year period. This was one of the best house sits we havd been lucky enough to do.Catherine &Mike were so hospitable & friendly ,nithing was too much trouble for them.They let us use there car while they were away so we got in a good amount of sightseeing around the area which was a lovely place. The house was so warm &comfortable ...everything we needed to stay warm,actually soo nice ..We really didnt want yo leave All the neighbours were super friendly and we ended up having a few cups of teas &scones with them We fell in love with both the dogs & were sad to leave them. I couldnt recomnend house sitting for Mike & catherine enough .If we didnt live so far away I would wanf yo house sit everytime they went away
