House near Yellowstone National Park on 4 acres, no pets

About this assignment

We are looking for a responsible and mature house sitter. Someone who enjoys the mountains. Our house is 9 miles from the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The house sitter must be comfortable in a rustic setting surrounded by wildlife and public lands.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We don't have any pets to care for. Primary duties will include watering the lawn, mowing the lawn, weeding the garden, watering the trees on the property, and bringing in the mail.

What are the good features of the property and location

We have beautiful views of the Gallatin Mountains and the Yellowstone River. Great access to public lands, with dozens of trailheads within an hour's drive. Our house is very cozy. The town of Gardiner, MT is nearby, with groceries, post office, and restaurants.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We are looking for someone with flexibility. We would like the initial assignment to be about one month, but are open to extending it depending on our work situation. Likewise, we may need to move back into the house with two weeks notice.
