Very rewarding house sit at beautiful farm of loving family

Looking after Deb and Kirsten's house and animals (Apr-May 2019) has been nothing but a privilege. From the first moment we got in contact, we've felt comfortable with and reassured by them. When we arrived at their beautiful and spacious farm, we received a heartfelt welcome and they introduced us to the family and animals. Before setting off they showed us all around the house, making sure we would feel at home, and they gave us well documented instructions. During our house sit we stayed in touch with each other and when two of the dogs unexpectedly had to go to the vet, Deb and Kirsten supported us very well whilst on their holiday. Looking after 8 animals was quite hard work at times so potentially this would be better suited to a couple than a single person. Although it was sometimes hard work, it was so rewarding to get to know all the animals' individual characters. In summary, a house sit at Deb and Kirsten's beautiful farm is an amazing opportunity to look after the animals of a friendly, loving family, in a stunning, quiet location.

Amazing country location with plenty furry friends!

We house sat for Deb and Kirsten in 2018 (delayed review, apologies!) and got to meet their amazing family while we were there. They made us feel welcome straight away, and we had a lovely dinner and fun day with their family before they left for vacation. They have many animals, and a large house and gardens which is especially fun for running around with the dogs - they are very energetic!! Their home is in a great location, supermarkets etc are close, and also borders Netherlands/Germany so there is plenty of places to go and explore! Would highly recommend this house sitting!!
