Fantastic experience
Delighted with the experience of looking after Byron and Biddy's dogs and home. They are an exceptional couple who made us feel at home from day one. Communication with them was quick and easy and everything regarding the care of their home was perfectly explained. To top it all off, they took care of showing us around so that we had no problems and could visit the area. As for Jack and Scott, they are amazing dogs, affectionate from the first moment, obedient and easy to look after. We highly recommend the experience with them as we have been delighted to meet them

Lovely area, lovely dogs!
We had a great time in the Dordogne looking after gorgeous dogs Jack and Scott, and minding house and garden. Homeowners Byron and Brigid were kind and friendly and kept in touch while they were away, answering any queries we had. The village is quiet but we still managed to join in some of the social life, as well as exploring the local area. A great experience!

A wonderful experience
Housesitting for Byron and Brigid was a wholly positive experience. Byron introduced me to the area and to his home with great care and tremendous understanding of what I would need to know during my stay. I was enormously grateful for his thoughtful orientation. He was also very amenable to being contacted with questions, and was always helpful in response. The house is lovely, comfortable and immaculate. It was very easy for me to maintain. The sunny garden and beautiful views were a brilliant bonus. And the dogs are absolutely splendid. One cheeky and loving, the other poised and elegant, they are terrific company. They're exceptionally well trained, and caring for them was a delight. Our daily walks through the countryside were beautiful, serene and restorative. Thank you Byron and Brigid for such a fabulous experience. You, your home and your dogs and the perfect house-sitting package, and if our dates align I would be delighted to return.

House & Dog Sit, Dordogne, France, September 2018
Byron and Biddy were wonderful hosts cooking us dinner and recommending places to visit. We arrived two days early to allow the dogs to get used to the changes and pick up as many tips as possible. This was not a problem as Byron and Biddy are both well-travelled and an interesting couple to spend time with. Both Scotty and Jack are affectionate dogs that enjoy the company. The house was spacious but also straight forward to maintain. The garden was a pleasure to sit out in, enjoying the fruits and tomatoes whilst overlooking it from the balcony is excellent. We loved spending time there and meeting the neighbours when out dog walking. The daily dog walks were also a great way to explore the quiet countryside. Cycle rides to the local villages, chateaus, reservoir and surrounding areas were all wonderful experiences. We were also blessed with wall to wall sunshine which was a bonus. We would recommend this sit wholeheartedly.

Saint Paul La Roche
Terrific Housesit, quiet village not far from some great restaurants and groceries. Funky dogs with their own individual personalities. House is warm and comfortable with a nice welcoming vibe. Very nice to walk with the neighbours, lovely countryside, easy walking with 2 dogs that love to be out and about. Great places to visit, easy drive in the Peugeot 108. Byron and Biddy are very welcoming and we cannot recommend this sit highly enough.
