Relax by the pool in Florida - no pet responsibilities

In search of a couple to manage our home, yard and pool. No pets!

We have a lovely home, pool and waterside views.
Nonsmokers please, with no pets of their own.
Having your own vehicle is necessary. Paradise awaits you!

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We are providing as much detail as possible so there are no surprises! We believe you will love our home as much as we do!
1. TRANSPORTATION -- While we live a few minutes from a Publix grocery store, you MUST have your own car for errands and sightseeing, as well as any emergency that could arise.
2. NO PETS and NO CHILDREN -- We have used this site for many years, and our beloved Goldendoodle passed away, so we don't have any pets now. We ask that you not bring any pets or children with you.
3. POOL and YARD maintenance - You will be in the home during the tropical rain season, which means the yard must be mowed every week, as the grass grows quickly. We also ask you do basic pool maintenance - we will provide supplies and instructions on how to maintain pool and yard.
4. Fiber optic internet is supplied and paid for by us -- provides good speed for all internet needs throughout the year. This is the same device we use when we live here and use it to work from home.
5. MOST IMPORTANT – Our biggest request is: let us know if you have any questions or concerns while we are away and we will ALWAYS provide a solution. We will provide several internet-based ways for you to stay in touch with us at no cost to you. It will NOT be possible for us to rush back home if emergency situations arise for you personally or due to weather conditions.

What are the good features of the property and location

You will be in a safe and friendly suburb of Cape Coral, Florida -- right on the water with Gulf access in a 2-bedroom home with a lovely swimming pool, complete with an outdoor shower. You can enjoy fresh mangoes right from the tree in the back yard. You'll have time to explore the surrounding areas, as you won't have pet-sitting responsibilities.

We are below the freeze line in Florida, between Tampa and the Keys, so temperatures here are very warm and tropical.

The home has southern exposure, so you can enjoy sunsets nightly on the screened-in lanai.

Florida's Southwest Gulf Coast contains a constellation of enticing coastal gems. Stunning beaches, including Ft. Myers Beach, Tigertail Beach and Pensacola Beach, fringe the Gulf, down the I-75 from Tampa to Naples. Sanibel Island's shelling attracts thousands. Cape Coral's waters are paradise for flyfishing. Golfers adore spectacular courses in Marco Island and Naples. Glorious sunny days and deliciously warm waters beckon.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Please note that yard and pool maintenance are required for this housesit, as well as having reliable transportation. We cannot provide you a vehicle.
